Air Max shoes are now selling out in stores, but the brand’s founder, Daniel Alegria, says he will keep the shoes in stock.
He says that “when we launch, we want to make sure that the shoes are going to be made with the materials we’ve made them with,” in the words of the company’s statement.
The shoes, made from premium materials including leather, polyester and suede, will be available in September for $500 US.
The company said that it was not using the word “xero” to describe the shoes, but it did use the term “xera” to distinguish it from a “classic” leather shoe.
Alegrianas shoes are designed to be comfortable and lightweight, and are made to last.
The leathers are made from the finest materials and are durable enough to endure the elements, and to have been treated with a variety of chemicals, including leather preservatives, that prevent oxidation.
He told CNNMoney: “We’re going to keep them in stock and we’re going see how they do.
If they work well, then we’ll go ahead and launch them in September.”
In an interview with CNN, Alegrás said that his company would “do everything in our power” to keep the company afloat.
“We’ve built a business, but we’re not going to survive just because of this.
We have to survive,” he said.
He has also launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for production.
It has already raised more than $100,000.
In the meantime, Air Max is not just the latest shoe to be marketed as a “modern day” shoe, but a modern-day shoe.
In 2010, the company launched the Air Max “Mint,” a shoe that featured the same leather as its “Classic” line.
“Classic is a leather that’s in high demand in the shoe world,” Alegrias said.
There’s a lot of hype out there and people are trying to sell the same shoe over and over again.”
